Does eSign Genie have a free trial so I can check it out before I purchase it?
Yes. eSign Genie offers a free 14-day trial so that you can try it out and see how easy it is to send your contracts for esigning. The trial includes 2 templates and 5 documents during one month. Sign up here for the free trial.
How will my subscription plan work?
During or after the software free trial, you can upgrade your plan to the paid plan based on your needs. Your subscription will be automatically renewed unless you let us know that you would like to change your plan or cancel your account.
What is the Pay As You Go plan?
We realize that some of you may not have a substantial monthly volume to justify a subscription plan but would like to create and maintain template(s) so you can send as required for esignatures. You can buy a minimum of $10 or more to get your documents signed at a price of $2/document. This way you save money by not having to pay for a monthly subscription plan.
Is the API included with a Professional or Business Premium plans?
No, the API is included in the customized pricing as it also depends on volume. The API is used in integrating your website with eSignatures so that the signing process is automated. This creates a seamless, convenient and hassle-free process for your customers as they don’t have to worry about being near a printer and/or scanner to esign your contracts.
Who is a sender?
A sender is a regular user, admin or super admin who creates, uploads, esigns and sends contracts using eSign Genie in order to request esignatures from the receiving party(s).
People you send to don’t need to be a customer of eSign Genie (unless they choose to sign up later) nor pay any money to esign the contracts. They simply receive an email notifying them of a contract needing their esignature. Then they just need to esign the contract through a recipient non-paying account that is created automatically.

Are eSign Genie’s Signatures legally binding?
Yes. eSign Genie hosts numerous compliances for every industry, and offers top level security to keep all documents secure. You don’t need to worry if your electronic signature will stand up in court- with complete UETA compliance, and a certificate of completion for every document, you have all the proof you need if for some reason the signature is being contested. What is your cancellation policy?
If you are on a monthly plan then you can cancel your account at any time and you will not be charged for the following month. If you chose the annual plan with eSign Genie, you can request a full refund in the first 14 days of having purchased that plan. After that time, eSign Genie will not be able to process a refund.
How do I cancel my account?
If you would like to cancel your account, just send us an email at support@esigngenie.com from the email address that you signed up for your eSign Genie account. If you have any difficulty, just call us at (408) 560-3900.
What happens to my account once I cancel it?
The account will be disabled once we process your cancellation request. Your contracts will still remain intact. You can activate your subscription anytime and start using your account again. If you want us to delete your account, you will have to first download your contracts so you have them on your local server for your records. You will then sign a release form that you have downloaded your contracts and that you give permission to eSign Genie to delete your account.
